An individual has died in an accident in Laamu Isdhoo on Saturday.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) has confirmed to RaajjeMV that a 27-year-old male has died in an accident in Laamu Atoll Isdhoo on Saturday night.

Police media official said that they had received a report of the accident at around 9:21 pm on Saturday.

The accident occurred after the 27-year-old lost control of the motorcycle he was traveling in. No one else was injured in the accident.

The young man died while being transported to the island’s health center for treatment, according to police.
