Some of the pledges included in the president-elect’s first 100 days of presidency plan include the withdrawal of foreign troops present in the Maldives as well as the decision to appeal the ruling of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) in the maritime dispute between Maldives and Mauritius.
Dr. Muizzu’s first 100-day plan is one that will make the country a modern nation that interlinks all the aspirations of citizens.
The president-elect’s first 100-day pledges will also pave the path for a bright future for all Maldivian families.
He also said that he would continue to serve the Maldivian families and make every effort to provide a prosperous future for them.
Earlier, Dr. Muizzu revealed that from the moment he received the presidential ticket, he has kept a record of all of his speeches and pledges made to the people during campaigns across outlying atolls for both rounds of the presidential election. He added that a book of pledges has been unveiled because he does not wish to hide anything from the people.
He added that the launching of the book of pledges also serves the purpose of proving that the promises made were with utmost sincerity and with the aim to fulfil them from the bottom of his heart.
