Prosecutor General has filed cases against Jumhooree Party Leader and Maamigili Constituency MP Qasim Ibrahim and Kimbidhoo Constituency MP Abdullah Riyaz in Criminal Court.

Speaking to RaajjeMV, PG Office media official said that three charges had been raised against the Maamigili Parliamentarian Qasim. The three charges include bribery charges, abuse of power and influencing potential voters.

The official said obstruction charges were filed against Abdullah Riyaz as well.

The cases were filed in Criminal Court on Tuesday.
