The 43-year-old who got into an accident in Fuvahmulah City, has succumbed to his injuries.
Hassan Ahmed Didi, native to the city succumbed to injuries attained in the collision on Sunday.
The hazardous accident took place when two motorcycles crashed in an administrative division of Fuvahmulah, Dhoondigan on Saturday.
Hassan attained serious injuries in the accident and he succumbed to the injuries during further treatment for which he was transferred into intensive care at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in capital city Malé.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) received the report of the accident a little past 6pm on Saturday.
Police revealed that the other vehicle involved in the accident was being operated by a minor who was not licensed to operate vehicles.
Authorities have since fined the minor and towed the vehicle.
The case is under further investigations.
