Two individuals have been injured in yet another dangerous accident in the capital region.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the accident occurred near the Villa Petrol Shed near the Hulhumalé highway, after sundown on Saturday.
MPS revealed that two motorcycles were involved in the collision.
A woman and a man were injured in this accident. They were rushed to Hulhumalé Hospital for treatment.
Details of their injuries attained in the crash, were not disclosed.
Further investigations are currently underway in connection with the accident.
Dangerous accidents continue to plague the Greater Malé Region, particularly in Hulhumalé. In a similar accident, a 23-year-old youth recently died after being hit by a speeding car near Central Park. Further, a 21-year-old youth also succumbed to injuries attained in a separate crash, very recently.
