Dhiraagu has signed as the Digital Partner for the “Maafushi Eid Ufaa” – Eid-ul-Adha celebrations in Kaafu Atoll Maafushi.

The “Maafushi Eid Ufaa” is being organized by the Secretariat of the Maafushi Council and will take place from 8-11 July 2022.

The festival will consist of different traditional games such as bodumas beynun, koadi nerun and maali parade. Other activities include a color run, waterpark activities and an Eid show featuring prominent local musical talents.

Around 7000 visitors are estimated to arrive at the island to participate in the Eid celebrations.

Assistant Manager Brand at Dhiraagu Naiya Shareef has stated that the company is delighted to be the digital partner for the “Maafushi Eid Ufaa. Naiya highlighted that Dhiraagu is proud to support events such as this which promote Maldives' cultural heritage and that the company hopes to continue doing this

Hassan Salah, President of Maafushi Council has expressed gratitude to Dhiraagu for their support to various community and cultural initiatives. He stated that the council secretariate is grateful for the company’s constant contributions to their events, especially large-scale events such as this one, which would greatly benefit island communities.
