Spokesperson for the President's Office Mabrook Azeez has revealed that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will be meeting with members of the National Security Council later this evening.

The explosion occured at 8:39pm on Thursday evening, while Speaker Nasheed had been entering his car which had been parked outside his home.
Speaker Nasheed and a tourist were injured in the explosion.
