A polling station in Holhudhoo Island of Noonu Atoll has stopped counting ballots after the light tube at the premises burned out. 

Police officers have vacated a polling station for Thaa atoll in Aminiya School - with the exception of observers - while ballot counting was ongoing. 

Ballot counting in Holhudhoo, Magoodhoo, and Miladhoo have been postponed to 18:45 hours.
