Former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom has held a meeting with members from the joint opposition.

The meeting was held in Maafannu Kunooz, main party headquarters of Jumhooree Party (JP).

JP reported that President Maumoon had met with steering committee members of the opposition and parliamentarians.

However, no details of the meeting were revealed.
