Foreign Minister Mohamed Asim has visited the Lebanese Republic, where he called on Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
A post on the ministry’s Twitter account reveals that Prime Minister Hariri and Minister Asim had discussed ‘cooperation in areas of mutual interest’.
Prior to this meeting, Minister Asim had called on Nabih Berri, president of the Lebanese parliament. The Foreign Ministry had not revealed details of either meetings.
A Bahraini newspaper revealed that Maldivian Minister of Gender, Zenysha Zaki, had called on their Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
