Another set of summonses have been issued on Nolhivaram Constituency MP Hussain Areef.

MP Areef made the revelation on Thursday.

He said he was issued summons for having allegedly disclosing information on Police officers. MP Areef has denied the allegations, adding this was more of the intimidation tactics used by the Government.

Defining their work as a national endeavour for the betterment of the nation, MP Areef said no amount of intimidation can cease this.

MP Areef is one of the Parliamentarians charged with assaulting officers of Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) within Parliament chambers.
