The dead body of an expatriate worker has been discovered in Hulhumalé, the capital city’s fast-growing urban extension.

The body was discovered inside a site operated by local real estate and furniture company, Damas Private Ltd, at around 08:20 am on Thursday.

The dead worker, a Bangladeshi national believed to have been in his early 40s, had sustained several injuries to his head.

The Hulhumalé Hospital said that the body was brought to them by the police.
