RaajjeTV journalists continue to receive threats via text messages, from the same number that was reported to the Maldives Police Service (MPS) previously.

The latest attack was on Saturday, with two journalists at the station receiving threatening messages from the same number; an international number with +44 country code.

Both messages contained vulgar language, and threatened the journalists "from spreading false information".

Journalists at RaajjeTV have been targeted on multiple occasions, while the station's primary studio and main control was torched by a group of masked men in 2013.
