Chinese navy's 'peace' ships have left Maldivian waters

The ships left Beijing on April 23rd, and was dispatched by Chinese President Xi Jingpin to 23 countries

The Chinese navy ships that docked in the Maldives as part of a peace mission earlier this month has left local waters.

The three ships docked at Malé City on 27th August. The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) had held a welcoming ceremony for the Chinese sailors at their arrival.

Chang Chun, Jing Zhou and Chao Hu, were harboured at Malé City’s commercial harbor.

The ships left Beijing on April 23rd, and was dispatched by Chinese President Xi Jingpin to 23 countries.

Local troops had engaged in training programs along with said Chinese sailors. The sailors had also visited the military training center in Girifushi island, and some of MNDF’s area headquarters.
