DJA warns of action if Judges are obstructed
Judges must be respected, judiciary will take action
Establishing justice is Court’s constitutional mandate
If it’s a lawyer, then license will be revoked

A statement released by DJA on Monday stated that the DJA will take legal action against the any parties that impact on the Court and Judge’s constitutional mandates. It further said that establishing justice is the Court’s constitutional mandate, which cannot be delegated to another agency.

DJA statement added that freedom of speech and freedom of press exist in a sphere that has to respect the rights of individuals, rights of the society and must be responsible and constructive. It noted that media reports are filled with inaccurate reports that directly target the Judges and the Judiciary.
