Vice President of the ruling Progressive Party of Maldives and MP for Fonadhoo constituency, Abdul Raheem Abdulla has been admitted to hospital.
RaajjeMV understands that he was admitted to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) on Saturday, due to a chest pain.
Back in February 2016, Raheem was treated to ADK Hospital, also due to chest pains. While he was treated at the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the MP was also sent abroad for additional treatment.
RaajjeMV understands that Raheem was taken to hospital early Saturday morning.
A senior PPM official said that Raheem "is feeling better now" and that they were waiting for test results.
