Maldives Police Service (MPS) has cancelled the summon order sent to Thimarafushi constituency MP Mohamed Musthafa.
A summon order was sent to the MP on Sunday, ordering him to present himself to the police at 4 pm on Monday.
While he was informed of the cancellation on Monday afternoon, RaajjeMV was unable to confirm the reason for the cancellation.
This is the second time that the MPS has cancelled after summoning Musthafa for questioning.
Accused of speaking in a manner that 'incites a coup,' his summon order states that the MP had, in a live programme on RaajjeTV on the 28th of July, had spoken in a manner that encourage people to commit unlawful acts to overthrow the government.
Authorities confiscated the MP's passport last week, banning him from traveling out of the country for a period of three months, from August 8 to November 8.
