A woman has fallen to her death in the congested capital of Maldives, Malé City.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the incident took place around sundown on Wednesday.
The woman died after falling from a building near the Maldives Ports Limited (MPL).
The police institution is currently conducting further investigations in connection with the case.
MPS has urged the public to refrain from circulating photos of the incident and the deceased on social media platforms at this time of grief for the mourning family, and to respect the privacy of the family.

The woman is to have fallen from the eighth floor of the building.
She is to have landed inside a vehicle parked right below.
