The Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened self-service banking ATM centers in two more islands.

In an effort to support the island communities and the national bank’s ongoing efforts to expand its services in outlying atolls in support of island communities, BML opened the centers in Gulhi island of Kaafu atoll and Keyodhoo island of Vaavu atoll.

These centers will support individuals and businesses in depositing and transferring money on a round-the-clock basis, in addition to the general cash withdrawal service.

The center houses a state-of-the-art multi-functional ATM and the bank has been continually investing in efforts to support local communities, BML revealed in a statement.

Presently, Kaafu atoll has two branches, five self-service banking centers and cash agents in addition to the banking services available in capital Malé City.

BML revealed that Vaavu atoll currently has a branch in Felidhoo, ATM services in two islands and cash agents across other inhabited islands.

BML remains committed to support individuals, businesses and communities across the nation, with a nationwide network of 38 branches across all 20 atolls, 86 self-service banking centers, 142 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of digital banking services.
