Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has made temporary changes to the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) mini bus service routes in Male' City.
MTCC states that these changes were made due to the road scaping works of Ameenee Magu.
As such, the company notes that there is a road closure of Ameenee Magu near the Food Court area, which has distrupted the flow of some of the RTL bus routes.
MTCC states that Ameenee Route (R11) buses will be rerouted from Handhuvaree Hingun, back to Majeedhee Magu and Orchid Route (R10) will be from Majeedhee Magu to West Park stop.
Additionally, the company states that R1 and R3 will now begin their journeys from Maafannu Bus Terminal and that the last stop for R7 will be also be Maafannu Bus Terminal.

MTCC commenced the RTL mini bus service in Male' on September 05, 2022, and is operating 12 mini buses, in three routes of Male' City. They are Sosun route, Ameenee route and Orchid route.
Mini bus services is available within the city at a cost of MVR seven, per person, per trip. Tickets are available through RTL application. Customers can also now uses their visa debit and credit cards to make the payment.
People with special needs, people over the age of 65, children in school uniform and children under the age of three will be able to travel free of charge.
The mini bus operations comes under the Raajje Transport Link services introduced by the government to improve the transportation services of the country. Under RTL, MTCC is providing ferry services and bus services in the country.
MTCC states that customers will be able to view the RTL bus schedule via the company's website. Additionally, customers can also use the company's hotline 1650 to inquire about the services.
