The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) has appointed the Managing Directors of 20 state owned enterprises (SOE)s.
PCB appoints the Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers of the SOEs on the advice of the President. As such, PCB on Tuesday, issued a statement naming the Managing Directors of 20 SOEs.
Of the 20 Managing Directors, 16 are male and four are female.
The 20 Managing Directors appointed on Tuesday are;
- Managing Director of Male' Water and Sewerage Company Limited (MWSC), Abdulla Matheen Mohamed
- Managing Director of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Abdulla Ziyaad
- Managing Director of State Electric Company Limited (STELCO), Hussain Fahumee
- Managing Director of Urbanco, Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed
- Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Ibrahim Shareef
- Managing Director of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim
- Managing Director of State Trading Organization (STO), Shimaad Ibrahim
- Managing Director of Island Aviation, Ibrahim Iyaas
- Managing Director of Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO), Mujthaba Jaleel
- Managing Director of Aasandha Company Limited, Aiminath Zeeniya
