The Parliament gates and entrances were locked down after opposition MPs had attempted to hold a Parliament session. The said Parliamentarians were blocked from entering the premises, pepper sprayed and some MPs had needed emergency treatment at ADK hospital.
Police said they had entered the premises to remove individuals who had been stripped from their Parliament seats. However, Supreme Court had not made a decision on the seats of the said Parliamentarians.
