Meekail Naseem has been elected as President of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) Youth Wing.

Ibrahim Maiz has been elected as his Deputy.

The two were elected to their positions in the internal elections held on Friday evening. All MDP members between 18 and 35 are eligible to vote.

The Youth Wing charter says that the wing was formed to recognize, encourage and support the contribution made by youth in all areas, both from within the Party and to the nation.
