The police’s search for the 49-year-old who has been missing since Friday is still ongoing, authorities have announced.

The police said that the man’s disappearance was reported to them at around 12:05 am on Saturday.

Mohamed Shafeeu had left his home in Fuvahmulah at around 11:30 pm on Friday and was to return home soon, his family said.

The police said that they will continue their search.
