The Bank of Maldives (BML) has renewed its partnership with Tennis Association of Maldives (TAM).
The country’s national bank in a statement issued on Tuesday, revealed that they renewed their partnership with TAM as part of their support to sports development across the island nation.
During the signing ceremony, CEO and Managing Director of BML Karl Stumke signed the agreement on behalf of the company, with President of TAM Ahmed Hafeez signing on behalf of the association.
BML will be supporting the National Tennis Championship for the next three years through the partnership which aims to develop young players and recognize top talent in the sport.
BML’s CEO and MD Stumke expressed delight in continuing the company’s partnership with TAM to enable young athletes to further develop their talent.
“The National Tennis Championship is the longest running tennis tournament in the country, and we are delighted to continue our partnership with TAM to enable young athletes to further develop their talent.” BML’s MD and CEO Karl Stumke.
As the official sponsor of the national football teams and all national surf teams, the country’s national bank proudly supports the development of sports in the island nation.
BML is also the nationwide partner of Swimming Association of Maldives.
Currently, BML is supporting seven top national athletes from athletics, badminton, table tennis and tennis to train and develop at recognized high-performance training centers worldwide through its Sports Scholarship Fund.
