Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has made temporary changes to the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) mini bus service routes in Male' City.

MTCC states that these changes were made due to the road blockage as Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) is executing some development work in the Majeedhee Magu of Male' City, distrupting the normal bus routes. As such, the company highlights that changes were brought to the Orchid route and Ameenee route.

With the new changes, busses will not be scheduled between the Majeedhee Magu Nalahiya and Thoum Restaurant. However, the company notes that normal bus services will resume once the road opens up again.

MTCC advices those who want more details about the changes, to contact, their hotline 1650.

MTCC commenced the RTL mini bus service in Male' on September 05, 2022, and is operating 12 mini buses, in three routes of Male' City. They are Sosun route, Ameenee route and Orchid route.

Mini bus services is available within the city at a cost of MVR seven, per person, per trip. Tickets are available through RTL application. Customers can also pay using cash.

People with special needs, people over the age of 65, children in school uniform and children under the age of three will be able to travel free of charge.

The mini bus operations comes under the Raajje Transport Link services introduced by the government to improve the transportation services of the country. Under RTL, MTCC is providing ferry services and bus services in the country.

MTCC states that customers will be able to view the RTL bus schedule via the company's website. Additionally, customers can also use the company's hotline 1650 to inquire about the services.

MTCC highlights that the company's aim as the largest transportation service provider of the country is to provide the customers with reliable and easily accessible services, at affordable prices.
