The current parliament session is to proceed until December 5.

The members of the parliament voted to extend the session at Tuesday’s sitting, with all MPs present voting in favour of the extension.

As per Majlis regulations, the third session of the year will continue from October 1 to the end of November.

The 19th parliament began work from the second session of 2019, in May, and has held 71 sittings thus far.

Some of the work conducted since then include work to introduce the minimum wage and income tax bills.
