Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih will arrive at Jamaluddin School to cast his ballot, at 10:30am.
His Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)'s Chairperson, and former Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail will arrive at Aminiya School to cast his ballot at 09:30am.
A total of 602 ballot boxes have been stationed for Sunday's polls, including 181 in Malé City, nine in Villimalé, 51 in Hulhumalé, 319 in outlying atolls, and 34 in resorts. Three ballot boxes have been placed in foreign countries and five in prison facilities.
The Elections Commission of Maldives (EC) revealed that voting will proceed in Maldives from 8am to 5:30pm.
In Trivandrum, India, polling will proceed from 8:30am to 6pm.
In Colombo, Sri Lanka, polling will proceed from 8:30am to 6pm and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, polling will proceed from 11am to 8:30pm.
