Covid-19: 26 new cases confirmed, daily recoveries fall to 7

The country’s Covid-19 case count has reached 2,120
While seven additional patients have also recovered, this is the lowest daily recoveries reported in recent days

Authorities have reported 26 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday.

According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), the new cases include three locals, as well as 16 Bangladeshis, three individuals from India and Nepal each, and one Sri Lanka national.

With the new cases, the country’s Covid-19 case count has risen to 2,120.

Seven additional recoveries were announced on Wednesday, bringing the total recoveries to 1,670. This is the lowest daily recoveries reported in recent days.

While the country has also seen eight Covid-19 related deaths, there are currently 433 active cases in the country.
