Five more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the Maldives.
While the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC)’s spokesperson Mohamed Mabrook Aziz revealed that the number had surpassed 400 during Saturday night’s press briefing, the number currently sits at 406 according to the Covid-19 dashboard of the Ministry of Health.
With the update, the country’s recovery rate is currently at 24.28%.
Maldives confirmed a total of 1,672 cases as of Saturday out of which 406 have recovered thus far.
The country has also seen five Covid-19 related deaths.
There are 1,259 cases currently active, with 12 patients hospitalized.
According to statistics of the Health Protection Agency (HPA), 74 cases were confirmed on Saturday alone, with the number at 51 the previous day.
One Maldivian, 13 Indians and 60 Bangladeshi nationals tested positive on Saturday.
