Gov. signs USD 57.7 mln airport project with Gryphon Energy
Gryphon Energy Asia Pacific agreed to develop airports five locations across the Maldives.
As per the contract, the airports will have to be developed by August 2018.

Regional Airports has signed a contract of USD 57.5 million with a Malaysian energy group to develop five domestic airports across the Maldives.

Gryphon Energy Asia Pacific agreed to develop airports in Kulhuduffushi of Haa Dhaal atoll, Funadhoo in Shaviyani atoll, Nilandhoo in Faafu atoll, Maavarulu and Faresmaathoda in Gaaf Dhaalu atoll.

As per the contract, said airports will have to be developed by August 2018.

The contract was officially signed in a ceremony held at the Tourism Ministry, under which the Regional Airports is operated.
