A female officer from the Maldives Police Service (MPS) has been dismissed due to discliplinary issues, after alleged nude photos of her were leaked.

Media official at MPS has confirmed the matter to RaajjeMV.

The media official said that an officer has been dismissed after completing an investigation into the leaked photos.

He said that the dismissal came after its Professional Standard Unit determined that the individual seen in the photos "is indeed the accused officer."

RaajjeMV understands that the officer was stationed at the Dhoonidhoo Custodial Department.
