Alleged thieves threaten to kill prosecutor
'If we ever see you on the streets, you're dead' two defendants in a mobile phone theft case said.
The threat is being investigated.
A prosecutor was also assaulted in court last week.

A prosecutor representing the state in a theft case has been threatened, the Prosecutor General’s (PG) office has said.

RaajjeMV understands that Adam Mohamed was threatened by the defendants; Mohamed Hilaal and Dawud Mamdhooh.

“If you’re ever sighted on the street, we’ll break you and kill you” the threat, received around 1:00 pm on Tuesday said.

Hilaal and Mamdhooh are charged with stealing a mobile phone.

The PG's office has filed the case with the relevant authorities, and has been assured that its being investigated.

Last week, a defendant was held in contempt after he assaulted the prosecutor in his case, while the court was in session.
