Ooredoo Maldives has decided to provide further investment for, and support, three startup initiatives.

Ooredoo is providing technical support for three local companies under their ‘Niru’ business accelerator plan.

Teams from these companies have been given a 12-week ‘intensive’ mentorship, working spaces, and provided digital tools to support their operations.

The program also provides opportunity for the companies to reach local policy makers and international markets.

Ooredoo launched the ‘Niru’ program in July of 2018, to support ‘innovative startups run by entrepreneurs who are passionately working towards social change’.

Businesses chosen for the program are considered partners to Ooredoo and will be given long-term support.
