The Gayoom siblings have denied the charges filed against them by Rasheed Carpentr and Construction (RCC) Pvt Ltd.
RCC filed suit in Civil Court to recover MVR 2 million from siblings Dhunya, Yumna, Ghassaan and Faris Maumoon, for the construction of a property on Chaandhanee magu. On Sunday, Civil Court heard opening statements from the two sides.
Dhunya Maumoon, who had previously served as Foreign Minister, is now State Minister at Health Ministry. Yumna Maumoon previously served as Deputy Minister at Education Ministry, while Ghassaan Maumoon currently serves as State Minister at President’s Office.
