Ooredoo Maldives introduces Amazon Prime Video services

Ooredoo Maldives, the local partner of global telecom giant Ooredoo, has introduced Amazon Prime Video services for their customers.

Ooredoo announced this through a statement on Friday, where they said the Amazon Prime Video service is available to all their post paid and fixed broadband internet customers.

Current packages are available for a monthly fee of just MVR 49 while customers can also opt for a seven-day free trial. New rates are to be introduced after six months.

Customers can register for the service through Ooredoo’s mobile app, website, or their SuperNet Portal.

"We will continue to partner with local and international brands to support the digital lifestyle of our customers," Ooredoo Maldives says.

Amazon Prime Video is a video-on-demand service that offers original content from the Amazon Studios as well as other channels. Amazon is licensed to host content from 155 different channels, including HBO, Comic-Con, and Comedy Central.
