Parents of Dhaalu Hulhudheli School students have, on Wednesday, protested against the poor services at the school.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, a parent, who wished to remain anonymous, said that they decided to protest due to the poor services provided to the students by the school.
The parent noted that despite it being days since the new academic year began, that they have yet to receive all the texbooks.
"The toilets are old and ruined and the school does not have a good principal," said the parent.
The demonstration began at around 6:30 am on Wednesday, with the parents saying that they will only stop once they are assured that the matters will be resolved.
RaajjeMV understands that none of the students showed up for classes on Wednesday.
Speaking on the matter, a teacher said that the police had to go and open up the school gate due to the parents’ demonstration, but said that they were yet to hear anything from the Ministry of Education.
