Member of Parliament for Kimbidhoo Constituency, Abdullah Riyaz, on Monday issued a storm of tweets, following a visit to the Constituency.
The MP, a member of the Parliament Group at Jumhooree Party, noted the revetment project in Kandoodhoo Island had been halted indefinitely. He added the island had received fake geobags, accusing the Government of graft.
He also tagged Environment and Energy Minister Thoriq Ibrahim, calling for a solution to the issue of erosion as well as sanitation network for Kimbidhoo Island. He also tagged the Minister in a subsequent tweet, asking when a proper clean water network will be instated in Hirilandhoo Island.
Riyaz also tagged Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizz, reminding that port construction in Omadhoo Island was an electoral pledge.
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) and Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed were tagged in a tweet, which highlighted the halted ferry services in Thaa Atoll.
The Parliamentarians tweets highlighted the various issues and delays in Government initiated projects with the relevant agencies tagged in them.
