Recently launched mobile banking application Faisa Mobile by local bank, Islamic Bank of the Maldives (MIB) has paved a convenient way to make Fitr Zakat payments through the application.
According to the bank, users of the application can make their Zakat payments before the 12th of June. However, they can only do so after completing the login procedure, after downloading the application and filling out users details.
Users can make other's payments as well as their own.
MIB also said that they will be introducing exciting new services through the app in the near future.
Customers can also pay Zakat over the counter at MIB's main branch located on Kurangi Goalhi in Henveiru ward of capital city Male' and also through FaisaPOS machines placed at the Islamic Center.

With the services that come under this application, customers can check their bank balance and transaction history through the application, make transfers to accounts of MIB and other banks alike as well as view details of financing facilies and status of cheque clearance as well as report stolen or missing cheques.
While "Faisa Mobile" can be used on both IOS and Android phones, the application is available on App Store and Google Play Store.
