Bank of Maldives (BML) has begun its Graduate Internship Program.
The BML Graduate Internship Program is an opportunity for new graduates and students to gain work experience at the Bank.
The program began on Tuesday and will span one year.
BML stated that it has received applications from 150 students and has now hired some after interviews.
The Bank has stated that interns will be given the opportunity to earn as they receive their on-the-job training and that those who successfully complete the program will achieve a level of competence that will be highly beneficial to their career.
The Bank’s Learning and Development Department will conduct trainings for the Interns throughout the program.
Deputy CEO Mohamed Shareef said that interns will also be assigned a mentor.
Interns will graduate upon ‘Good’ performance, attendance and adherence to policies and procedure of the Bank at the end of the program year. These Interns will be issued a certificate of completion.
