Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer has on Wednesday endorsed the International Maldives Travel Market (IMTM) fair, the first of its kind.

IMTM Pvt Ltd revealed the fair at ITB Berlin earlier this year. The event is set to be the first international travel and trade fair to be held at a local resort.

The fair will be held at the Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi resort from June 23^rd to 24^th. A total of 30 tour operators from 14 different countries have registered thus far.

IMTM has made allowances for 200 local companies to participate in the fair. Interested companies can register through their website before 20^th May.

IMTM Pvt Ltd is a platform for destination management companies, tour operators, and travel agencies.
