Dhiraagu announced that they will provide support to build an outdoor playground for Autism Association in celebration of International Autism Day. 

In a press release published on 2nd April, Dhiraagu specified that the playground will be built in the Autism Association Center at Hulhumale'. They also noted that in order to support the project, Dhiraagu will gift a full setup of the playground equipment to the Association. 

The playground will help children develop better motor skills, as well as help in developing their social skills and abilities.  

Apart from spreading awareness regarding autism, Maldives Autism Association also conducts early intervention programs for autistic children. In addition to which they help children cope with the issues they might face in class settings and provides therapy required for their physical and social growth.

In the press statement released on Monday, they highlighted Dhiraagu's focus on helping children as part of their social responsibility. Furthermore, Dhiraagu noted their previous experience with organizations such as Care Society, ARC and Special Education Needs Centers in order to support children's causes.

Dhiraagu Special Sports Festival is the only sports event in Maldives that focuses on children with disabilities.
