The Ministry of Economic Development has again opened opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operators to apply for loans.
The ministry said on Sunday that the government will be giving of loans of up to MVR 50 million this year. The deadline for applications is open until this Thursday, 12th April.
Only businesses with all-Maldivian staff are eligible for this loan. The ministry will be giving preference to companies owned by women or young men, in which a special-needs individual has stakes, or environment-friendly policies.
