Australian coffeehouse chain Gloria Jean’s Coffees has franchised an outlet in the Maldives.

Local company Brew and Feast franchised the brand, which has over a thousand outlets across the globe.

The outlet is set in the newly constructed pavilion at the Rasfannu Beach, in Maafannu of capital city Malé.

First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim had been the chief guest at the coffee house’s inaugural ceremony on Monday night.

Gloria Jean's specializes in hot coffee and drinks and cold coffee drinks called Chillers.
