The main sponsor of the 2018 edition of Maldives Living Expo is the Colombo City Centre, said the event management company Highrise.
Highrise signed the sponsorship agreement with Colombo City Centre at a ceremony held at Champa Central Hotel on Monday.
The Centre’s General Manager Nirupa Peris signed the agreement on its behalf, with Sales and Marketing Manager Mariyam Maaisha Shujau signed on Highrise’s behalf.
Peris said that it was a privilege to sponsor the Maldives Living Expo, which was done to get into the Maldivian community as Sri Lanka is the second home to 'most of the Maldivians', adding that they were in talks with the banks regarding the possibility of 'easy payment' for foreigners.
The expo’s co-sponsor is Coral Boulevard, while Champa Central Hotel is the hospitality partner. Its printing partner is Print Lab, publication partner is The Island Chief and the security partner is Gage Private Limited. Sun Media and Channel 13 were awarded online and broadcasting partnership, respectively, while Dhiraagu is its digital communication partner.
A total of 28 real estate companies are to take part in this year’s expo, with Highrise saying that the 2018 edition, which features Living Abroad, ‘will showcase options of living from utmost luxury to affordable home options under one platform’.
The Maldives Living Expo is scheduled to take place from 15th – 17th Feb at National Art Gallery in the capital Malé City.
