Malaysia’s low-cost airline AirAsia has increased its number of flights to the Maldives, to meet rising demand.
A statement from the ‘pioneers of low-cost travel’ said that the they would operate more flights weekly between Maldives and the Kuala Lampur, starting February 6th.
The airline said that it will begin operating a 377-seat aircraft as well, in addition to having an introductory promotional fare for this change.
While AirAsia currently travels between Kuala Lampur and Maldives once every day, along with its sister airline AirAsia X, they operate 11 flights weekly.
