An AirAsia flight bound for Malaysia on Friday, has been cancelled due to a malfunction.
All H Maldives, the airline’s local travel agency, told RaajjeMV that the flight, scheduled to take-off at 5pm, was cancelled after it was found that the hydraulic fluid was leaking.
The flight has been re-scheduled to take-off on Saturday, it said.
The same flight reportedly failed to take-off on Thursday night, but AirAsia had not stated the reason for the delay.
Passengers had reportedly 'started a commotion' at the International Airport after the second delay, and while the Maldivians waiting to board had left, some foreign passengers were taken to Hulhule’ Island Hotel.
