Will be closed for 15 days
Resumes on January 2nd

Criminal Court has headed into recess.

Criminal Court Judge Adam Arif said the court was in recess from Saturday to end of December. Criminal Court will begin normal procedures on January 2nd.

Even though Criminal Court is in recess, some administrative work, remand hearings and major cases will be heard. This, Judge Arif said, include cases such as murder cases.

However, cases relating to political figures will not be heard during this period.

Courts go to recess twice a year; in June and in December.

Civil, Juvenile and Supreme Courts are already in recess.
