A foreigner was saved on Saturday after being stranded at sea.

The police media officer said a police speedboat found him between Villimale’ and Feydhoo Finolhu at 12:05 pm.

Another foreigner was found on a dinghy nearby.

The officer said one of them had gotten off the dinghy to steer it after its engine malfunctioned.

The dinghy belongs to a vessel near the area , said the officer.
