Law will catch up with perpetrators of floor crossing motion: Dr. Hussain
Citizens are not indebted to President
President is a public servant

Jumhooree Party Deputy Leader Dr. Hussain Rasheed Hassan has said that law will catch up with the perpetrators who engineered the floor crossing motion.

Speaking in the joint opposition rally in Thinadhoo island in Gaaf Dhaal Atoll, Dr. Hussain said the two MPs from the atoll had not lost their Parliament seats in spite of the declaration made by Elections Commission (EC).

Dr. Hussain said those MPs will serve their terms and that the day justice will be established was drawing close. He vowed that this administration will be ousted by legal means. Noting that no legal means existed to claim that 10 MPs had lost their seats, he said EC must be ashamed to make such a declaration.

Referring to the claims of development made by President, Dr. Hussain said this was the responsibility of the President. He urged the President to exercise humility and to refrain from blowing his own horn. He noted that the responsibility of the President was first and foremost to serve the nation and fulfill his mandate during his five-year term.
